The good old british seaside

I'm So we went to scratby. What a beautiful piece of coast line.
Pure sand beach and a lagoon looking sea. The bonus being not a lot of people come here so it is pick where you want to sit.

It was a tad windy but we had some windbreakers so that took the edge off it.
It's been raining so much in the UK it was nice to see some sunshine! The hottest day in a while. Which was a nice surprise.

The sea was chilly but once in it wasn't that bad at all.

We had a lovely day buildings sandcastle and eating lunch.

Whilst sunbathing we see a dolphin ( could have been a whale ) I managed to capture this on camera.

The something magical happened. A seal appeared and stayed around for a good 10-15 minutes. My friend managed to get the photos on my camera. This was a once in a lifetime kind of natural experience. Up close and where best but in its own habitat!

We spent a few more hours on the beach paddling and collecting shells.

All in all it was a beautiful day spent with beautiful people and lovely memories made. To see a perfect sunset just topped the day off nicely.
